Please read these guidelines before redeeming. They help keep Saturday sketches fun, welcoming, and a good creative challenge.
By redeeming, you give me the right to draw your OC in any way, style, and design I like. That includes hair color, design, outfit, eye design, or anything really. This is not a commission. I have the freedom to experiment and study; that is the whole point of Saturday sketches.
I want to portray your OC as accurately as possible, but most of the time I am being challenged and put to the test (time limits, new styles, difficult poses, and so on), so I may not have the time or brain power to get everything right. It is overwhelming and irritating to have my work picked apart with comments like “you missed this” or “she has a different body type.” If you are not fine with your OC being mischaracterized, please avoid redeeming. If something is drastically wrong, I will notice it on my own and might fix it eventually. If not, it is what it is.
Avoid asking for specific poses, colors, outfits, or other details. This is not a commission.
I am usually busy with all sorts of projects and like to take my time. Apologies in advance. Asking and inquiring is fine, but please let me take my time. If you are in a specific rush, such as a birthday gift or something similar, let me know.
Males, furry characters, mecha, and armor are generally not allowed, and I am not a huge fan of genderbending. Check with me and read up on whether these are allowed on a particular Saturday. If you redeem and it does not match that week's theme or rules, I may skip your redemption and refund you.
Make sure I have your reference when you participate. If it is your first time, upload it to the Discord channel called “💌 Your refs.” I usually save your references locally, so you do not have to upload them again. If you want me to draw a different character or add a new reference, let me know because I do not check Discord by default when I already have your reference.
Depending on the style, I might not want to draw OCs from outside the community, draw the same character twice, or draw the same winner again even with different characters. In that case, I can skip the redemption and refund you. Please read up and check with me to avoid confusion, and do not take it personally. ❤️
Especially do not send real-life pictures if you want me to genderbend someone. I want to focus on chat's OCs. Genderbending and coming up with a design from real-life pictures takes more effort and thought.
This is a chance to challenge myself, improve, and explore. Nothing I draw here is meant to be a concept or original art; it is a challenge. Time, style, and work aspects of my art and process are being tested, explored, and challenged. Do not expect perfection or even good art: it might come out terrible, and that is part of learning and experimenting. Please understand that before redeeming, and thank you so much for helping me improve while making this worthwhile.
